This class incorporates investigative scores that I have learned from my work with Rosy Simas over the years, as well as the many physical training methods that I’ve encountered and trained with as a performer and teacher. These techniques include yoga, Feldenkrais, Indigenous practices, cognitive re-patterning, Suzuki training, Viewpoints, Augusto Boal’s Games for Actors and Non-Actors, contemporary dance technique, gymnastics, and Min Tanaka's Body Weather/MB training. By centering love, respect, reciprocity, and empathy into this movement practice, we as a community will move towards an experience that flows with continuous non-stopping intention, pushing into our personal self-empowerment, agency, and empathy. It will also be really fun! EveryBody is welcome; every age is welcome.
Please wear comfortable clothing. This class is open to all kinds of movers, beginning, intermediate or advanced. Space is limited. Please email email@example.com to reserve a space.
