Performer (St. Paul)
Active in the dance world since the mid 1990s, Canadian choreographer / dancer George Stamos spent his formative years performance and contemporary dance milieus of Toronto, London, Amsterdam and NYC. In his prolific career George has worked with many pioneering choreographers and is honored to now dance for Rosy Simas. In both 2009 and 2017, he was a resident artist at the Baryshnikov Arts Centre in NYC, and in 2014 he received the McKnight Fellowship for International Choreographers Award. George is a 1993 graduate of Amsterdam University of the Arts and a 2018 graduate of the Department of Communication Studies of Concordia University.
